Great Ocean Road, Australia. Millions of years ago, the Great Ocean Road was covered by the ocean, and over time as the skeletons of billions of marine animals accumulated on the ocean floor, it turned into limestone as the ocean level receded. Wind, water, and erosion wore away parts of the limestone, forming the 12 Apostles.
