The Brief
ION Orchard—one of Singapore's most iconic retail destinations — required a refresh of their perennial shopping and dining guides for shoppers and tourists alike. Working as part of an agency team, we were tasked with developing the key visual direction, art directing the shoot, refreshing their mall facade visuals,
and designing both guides end-to-end.

Facade
Shot on location at dusk, the facade key visuals capture ION Orchard's iconic architecture in its most dramatic light, positioning the mall as a landmark destination at the heart of Singapore's Orchard Road.
For the dining guide, we developed a conceptual still-life key visual—balancing ingredients, utensils and textures into a playful sculptural composition that nods to the eclectic and diverse food offering within the mall, where it all comes together.
Food
Beyond the covers, the guides were designed in full, from access maps and floor directories to level-by-level store listings, ensuring every detail was considered and presented with the same visual consistency as the cover design.
The Guides
The key visuals were brought directly into the guide design, each cover using the photography as a canvas for bold, oversized typography and a vibrant colour palette that feels energetic and distinctly ION. The result is two guides that are as visually compelling as they are functional.
